Farm Inputs Report Update - By Ellen Garland 0418 137 224
Listing of the Week - BioMax Soluble Humate Granule
Fertiliser - Urea continues to hold firm, hovering around $835 - $840 depending on port. There are mixed views on where the market will go over the next few months. If you require Urea during March/April, please get in touch as soon as possible to secure it now to avoid any supply constraints. We can also discuss May/June and July/August. MAP has come back to $1,110.00, DAP remains at $1,155.00 per tonne ex all ports. Single Super remains at $445.00 ex Geelong, Portland, Adelaide and Newcastle. We have stock available at $430.00 per tonne ex Geelong for a March Delivery. SOA is $445.00 per tonne (All ports). We have had some customers lock in blends, including MAP/Urea 70:30, MAP/MoP 80:20, we can quote any custom blend required.
Chemical - Any chemical requirements that are not yet secured, please consider locking in a portion of what you anticipate you will need. When demand hits it will out-weigh supply. Suppliers are nervous that there may not be enough Glyphosate, there is stock of 450 and 540 ready to go. There is some Trifluralin available, with more arriving in March. We are hearing that the volume ordered is nowhere near other years. If you are looking for a Sakura Equivalent, we have access to Superhero, but very limited stocks available, get in touch to secure this one now. There are good stocks of Atrazine, Disturb (Terbyne), Pendimethlin and Paraquat. Stock of Oxyfluorfen and Clobber 400 are ok for now, but expect demand to be high.
Today’s Trends - Hay and Feed Grain have dominated the week for sales. We have also had a good week selling Tractors, with Tillage and Seeding Gear being popular. Tim L won the $5000 Luxury Escape draw, and he was having a shit day until I called. Have a great Weekend everyone.
