Dump Trucks - I had a conversation with a Farmer this morning, and he said we need to get every CFA Fire Truck to Melbourne, where we block the bridges and throw the keys over the edge. He was deadly serious about it and adamant that it needed to happen. He said it’s the only thing that will have an impact. I said I would pass it on. Sounds good to me, but you guys are better qualified to make that call. Would you support something like this? Reply to [email protected] or 0427 011 900
Breaking News - We have been informed that over 150 CFA Brigades have now booked offline in protest against the impending new Emergency Services tax. A UFU Member Zoom Meeting will take place tomorrow to discuss this tax and its impacts. It is anticipated that there will be a mass rally next Tues 20/05 (Budget Day) involving emergency services, farmers, regional councils and other interest groups affected by this indecent cash grab. UFU members with access to CFA volunteer channels are welcome and encouraged to share this text message. Strength in Unity. Authorised P. Marshall, Branch Secretary.
