Important Farm Tender Update:  Price Changes from 1st July

Hello Members,

Firstly a thanks to everyone who took the time to complete our recent (and first!) Member Survey.  It’s been great to hear your feedback and suggestions.  Your feedback has been incredibly valuable and is already helping us improve and shape the way forward for Farm Tender.

Based on what you shared — and considering the broader challenges facing agriculture and your local communities — our Board has made the decision to adjust our fees in certain sectors (whilst keeping others the same), effective 1st July. These changes are designed to offer even greater value and better support you moving forward.

We remain fully committed to keeping ourselves member-first, delivering personal, customer-focussed service and that isn’t changing.  We are looking to enhance the service we provide even further.  The relationships we’ve built with our members are incredibly important to us, and we want to continue supporting you with the results you need and the service you expect.

You’ll see the updated pricing on our website from 1st July, and we’ll also introduce a phased transition for any current listings to make it smooth and fair, however please refer the attached document for further information.

If you have any questions or would like to discuss these changes, please don’t hesitate to give me a call on 0419 210 720 – I’d be more than happy to chat.

Kind regards,
Megan Ruyg

🛑 Farmers: Stop Listening to Overseas Solar Sales Calls

We’re proud to work with Farm Tender to support Aussie farmers like you.

Hi, I grew up on a dairy farm (Ayrshire cattle) – so I understand how hard you work and how tired you are of salespeople calling from overseas trying to flog cheap gear that’s too big and too expensive.

That’s why Kingston.solar and Farm Tender are working together to offer something better – built for farmers, by people who understand farming.

✅ Here’s how we keep it simple and fair:

  1. You send us your power bills – nothing fancy.

  2. You tell us if your energy use might go up – like adding irrigation, cooling, or sheds.

  3. You don’t pay anything upfront, and there’s no lease.

  4. You only pay for the power you use – like a water meter, but for electricity.

  5. We design the right-sized system – not too big, not too small.

💰 Real Example:

  • You're paying 36c per kWh now and its set to rise by 15% on July 1st 2025

  • We charge 10–20c per kWh, depending on how long you want the agreement.

  • It’s called a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA).

  • If you don’t use the energy, we wear the cost – so we only install the size you need.

🔧 What You Get:

  • Commercial-grade solar equipment

  • Fully maintained and monitored

  • Cleaning included

  • No nonsense

💬 If you’re tired of being oversold and overcharged, let us help you save from day one.
