Today's Trends - Smaller sales today. Many in the Farming community were waiting for an interest rate drop, and that happened. One or two more will be handy for many. The font turned out a bit weird on some emails last night; hopefully, that doesn't happen again.

What things sold - Silos, Mower Conditioner, Urea, Lucerne Hay, Combine, Augers, Motors, Oats, Working Dog, Barley Straw and Wheat Straw

What was in this mornings edition of The Farmers Club.

• What did you do after you left school? There's an age-old debate as to what kids who want to come back to the Farm do after school. We unpack that one….

• We love our funnies. Each morning, we have 20 odd in our subscriber edition. When I said on April 1 (yes, yes, fools' day) that someone had complained and we were going to stop them, you should have seen the replies…… They are still a bit part of what we do.

• Do you hold a buffer? What I mean by that is, do you hold, say, 6 months' worth of cash in the bank for lean times? I know one Farmer who always holds a Grain buffer and only ever has enough cash in the bank to survive. We explored the subject today

• Is it all about experiences??? Of all subjects, our subscribers got talking about how they are happy to pay big bucks to attend the ACDC concert for that one-off experience.

• The Kimberley Cotton Gin has been 60 years in the making. It opened yesterday. Sounds like a government project.
