What was in this mornings edition of The Farmers Club.
  • We received numerous responses to the MLA CEO Michael Crowley’s reply. A couple of Farmers gave me a blast as to the way I went about it, which was fair enough. It makes good reading.

  • Do you believe the best form of marketing is word of mouth? I believe so, and I’m starting to see it through the subscription sign-ups.

  • What is being unique? How do you set yourself apart from the pack? We write about this very topic.

  • Where do you get your Ag info from? I am interested in asking if you still read the Ag newspapers or listen to the Country hour, etc.

  • The reason I ask the above question is that I have this in mind. I want to be the best non-journalist-trained news gatherer and writer in the country. We are probably thinking we are a media company. It’s an exciting space with opportunities to do things differently - You are invited along

  • How’s your frame of mind? We wrote about how a Salmon Gum Farmer (WA) would be feeling on top of the world after seeing pictures of his Crops that look magnificent. You have to bottle those feeling when they come along.

  • It was great to see former lefty politician Joel Fitzgibbon give his former party a sledgehammer on their current climate policy. He stuck up for us Farmers by saying we have got this climate stuff covered. Good stuff

  • You have to read what the latest forecast that has come out of the government climate division is saying. They are using words like dire, diabolical and extremely confronting. I mean, who writes this stuff?
