Today’s Trends - It’s been a couple of big days for Machinery sales, with some big ticket items selling. It’s a good time to list.

What things sold - Pick-Up Front, Oaten Straw, Vetch Hay, Sheep Handler, Grader, Augers, Grain Bag Outloader, Grain Bag Inloader, Hay Rake, Mother Bin, Tractors, and Tyres.

What was in this mornings edition of The Farmers Club.

• How do we keep ourselves above the average line? We are on a mission to provide little one percenters that can make a big difference in the long run, with the aim of keeping our subscribers' businesses above the average line. In a story today, we pick up on a stat that a prominent Farmer put up, which could add quite a bit of revenue to the bottom line.

• What's been your favourite Machine or Vehicle ever? One US Farmer put up an image of a John Deere 4440 Tractor and the caption saying "Probably the best Deere ever built". We put together a story on the subject.

• The tipping system in North America means that young restaurant and diner workers are brought up to fight for every dollar. This can produce a good culture and good habits for the future. Our latest podcast guest explains why that system works and what we are missing out on here in Australia. It's a story that will get you thinking.

• We will have a Hay Report out later today. Do you have a big "cut Hay" or "strip Grain" decision to make in the next month? Stay tuned for that one.

• I am hearing a couple of forecasts saying that with Livestock prices high and good Crops in the North and over in the West, we will get to the magic $100 billion in Farm Gate production this year. 5 years before the NFF’s target. Very positive sentiments. What do you reckon?
