Introducting PhiBer Manufacturing Inc.
PhiBer Manufacturing Inc. was founded in 1996 by farmers for farmers in a small town in rural Canada. PhiBer recently expanded into Australia in 2025, establishing an assembly and parts facility right here in New South Wales featuring the DASH spray tender which is a system developed to minimize the time and labour involved in spraying.
The DASH system has been extensively field-tested in the eight years since it was first launched, and it has the testimonials to show how well it has performed. The goal has always been to simplify operation as much as possible so there is little that can go wrong, while optimising the time-saving elements to keep things going right.
The opinions and perspectives of the end-users, the farmers, is what matters most to the team at PhiBer. Here is feedback from just one customer using the DASH on a large-acre farm.
“The DASH spraying system by PhiBer absolutely saves us time. We love the chem handling system that enables us to go out and spray 3 different products that all have to go in the correct order, and it is done quickly, efficiently and most importantly safely. We no longer stress about moving from one crop to another and switching chemicals.” - Craig Anderson, Norman & Ruth Anderson & Sons Farms
The DASH spray tender system not only loads faster than anything you have ever worked with before, but it is also safe, accurate and incredibly versatile. The DASH automates chemical mixing, including dry chemicals, and cleaning, reducing the possibility for human error, decreasing the time needed to fill a sprayer, and increasing overall sprayer productivity. Because chemicals are kept separate until it is time to spray, then mixed based on weight not volume, the accuracy and efficacy are second to none. Greater effectiveness of agriculture chemicals means less use, which is good for the farmer and good for the environment.
PhiBer sells directly to the farmer or to service contractors, which enables extensive customisation. They have an impressive online “configurator” to assist with visualising and costing a sprayer unique to every buyer, or they will work with the farmer ‘off-line’ to configure the unit to their specific needs.
President, Derek Friesen will be attending the Henty Field Days and really looks forward to the opportunity to discuss the specific requirements and considerations that are critical in the Australian landscape. Look for the orange PhiBer equipment and stop by to say hello.

Today’s Trends - SA and that area from the Murray River North to say Forbes and an East/West line (give or take some) got some good and much needed rain. For some, game saving rain. If so, well done. Have a great Wednesday night.

What was in this mornings edition of The Farmers Club.
I don’t mind a pub, they are great places, and often the fabric of our communities. So I had to laugh when a Farmer said to me yesterday that: “They should burn all the pubs down”…. Hmmm. I thought to myself. Why? And asked that very question. He said, “So they can build bigger ones”. Haha.
What sort of information and ideas do you need to help future-proof your Ag business? We talk about the average line a lot, and it’s our aim to provide the info and ideas that can help you stay above it. I was talking to a Farmer the other day, and we agreed that it’s got to a point where we nearly have to be inventing new stuff.
What about the weather? Thinking positive is a great virtue. If you go back and listen to the John Carter podcast we did, you will get doses in spades. It’s a great lesson. There are things that annoy Farmers that we understandable can’t get that positive about, and one of those is the weather forecast. Many get disappointed. How do we change our attitude to the weather forecasts so we don’t get disappointed? It requires a change of thinking. We write about it today.
Because of the weather article, we have dedicated all of our 25 funnies to taking the piss out of the weather and weather forecasting. Sibscribe and I will send it to you.
How much pressure are you under? As Farmers, you probably wouldn’t realise until you stopped. That’s exactly what happened to one of our subscriber Farmers who loved Farming but didn’t realise the pressure he was under daily until he stopped Farming and retired. So don’t go too hard on yourself. We write about it today.
What’s your passion? What gets you out of bed every morning excited? We all have things we are passionate about, and they are wide and varied. One of our subscriber Farmers loved building stuff in the workshop. His biggest project was building his own Self-Propelled Sprayer. It took him 5 years to get it working properly. It’s a fascinating story. Some people are very clever.
Have a great Wednesday night
