Introducing Farm Tender SafePay - Reassurance in Every Transaction

Go to the SafePay page here.

Same reliable service with a fresh new look!.

You may have heard us mention and talk about “NPS” during the sales process, while this meant something to us (internally) it possibly didn’t mean much to our members or outsiders, it was just a system that we developed from a need we saw for our members, to help them feel re-assurance and trust when buying and selling.

NPS as it was known has been revitalised and re-branded – welcome SafePay!

The SafePay system was developed back in 2020 and has grown consistently over the years and equates to over 45% of our weekly invoicing and sales throughput. We have a dedicated staff member, Emma Withers who efficiently and competently manages the whole process once it is referred from our Sales Team.

We have always seen this as re-assurance for both parties;

  • the Buyer knows their funds are going to a professional and trusted system until they take possession of the item.

  • the Seller knows their funds are guaranteed once the item is delivered or collected

How It Works

  1. Buyer or Seller can request to use this service; once the Sale is confirmed and Sales Contract is developed by your Sales Manager it is referred over to the SafePay system.

  2. A PPSR Check is undertaken (for those items applicable to this process) to ensure there is no security held against the item.

  3. The Invoice is generated on the Sellers behalf and Buyer will pay to the SafePay escrow account.

  4. Once payment is received both parties are notified.

  5. Seller delivers (or buyer collects) goods - knowing payment is guaranteed and secure.

  6. Once both parties confirm satisfaction, funds are released to the seller along with a Statement of Account outlining all financials. If finance is owing on an item this is also paid out on the Sellers behalf, giving the Buyer assurance they have cleared title upon receival of goods.

What was in this mornings edition of The Farmers Club.
  • Would you happily say bye-bye Telstra? Elon Musk has come up with a genius system through his Starlink service, whereby you won't need a carrier like Telstra to make calls, text or download. It's about 2 years away, he said. I'd say there would be some emergency board meetings in Telsta's (and other carriers worldwide) head office on the back of this news. We wrote more about this today.

  • Has word of mouth always been the best form of marketing? I think it is. It's interesting how things work; most of my new subscribers come from this free version you're reading now. But lately, I have noticed a change, where people sign up for the free and immediately take the subscription. In the last 20 sign-ups, 13 have done it this way. Yes, some could be because of the podcast, but a few have said that a mate recommended I subscribe. Get into it....

  • Are you a great communicator? We wrote yesterday about how the Ag media is changing, but what is also changing is how some businesses are using communication as marketing. We could learn a thing or two from the Horse trainers who have developed a system whereby they can give the 15 owners of a specific Horse they all own a personalised rundown on how it's going. It works a treat, I'm told. We write about how it could be used for Farming in today's full edition. Subscribe, and I will send it to you.

  • I remember reading and hearing 10 or so years ago that Saleyards were dying. I probably said it myself, like my prediction 10 years ago that by 2025, Livestock Agents would be a thing of the past. That Farmer/Agent relationship is probably stronger than ever. I got that one wrong, too.

  • Is fast-paced turnover a new trend in Farming? Nigel Kerin, who I would describe as a leading Farmer, but also a leading business educator, talks about his emphasis on speed and turning over things quickly, whether that's Sheep, Cattle, or Crops. It's next-level information he is sharing here. We write about this today.

  • I just want to leave you with this. My offer is my promise. So when you subscribe, I promise to commit fully to bringing you the best information, ideas and news possible. It's a passion of mine, and I absolutely love it. I also love deadlines, and at 5 am (Eastern Standard Time), 6 days a week, I commit to that promise to deliver value.

  • Have a great Friday night.
