What was in this mornings edition of The Farmers Club.
  • Does your current situation define you? Samsung was a grocery store. LG was a facial cream, Ikea was a pen. What's the lesson? You're not defined by who you are now. You're current situation doesn't have to be your last.

  • It's like a keynote speech you carry around with you - We highlighted the 3 podcasts we did with Lachie McKenzie, Jeff McDonald and Ben Duxson today. They are fueling ideas and takeaways that you can use. It’s all about keeping ourselves above the average line. Subscribe, and I will send them to you.

  • Do you want to hear what the influential Farmers are saying? The replies are next level today. Here's a couple….

  • One experienced Farmer replied on the subject of how Farmers are currently searching for the best information. He said this "The best investment you can ever make in life is in advancing and enhancing your own intellect. Better to be in front of the herd eating fresh grass with a sense of wonder, passion and humility, than consuming the dust and crap of others in front, feeling you are comfortable enough at maintaining one's level of ignorance to get by".

  • This is in reply to a story we wrote about how one Dealer is looking to employ a customer service manager, which we think might be a winner. The Farmer said this: "I always think they should have only one contact that the client deals with all the way through from sale to service, parts, account queries, precision ag, etc. They then could have specialists that the client never sees or sees only in conjunction with, to help them".

  • Is Horsham the biggest Ag centre in Australia, as per the percentage of the population of Ag contributors? We make a case for Horsham, but list many more centres that can stake this claim. Who do you think is?

  • Would you like to go to work this morning smiling? That's what our funnies do. When we did an April Fools joke saying that someone had complained, and we were going to have to pull the funnies, we got so many replies, saying noooooo not the funnies. We didn't, and they are hugely popular. We write today how many of the funnies reflect are thinking. Long live the funnies. Start your day with a few laughs.

  • Have a great Thursday.
