Ken has helped numerous Farmers in his time, firstly as a TAFE teacher, and after that as a self-employed consultant. His great mate Wayne Hawkins said he could have easily doubled or even tripled the turnover of the Farmers he worked with, such was his influence. Ken is a deep thinker, a thorough observer and has been a great listener. He has a knack for turning complicated things into simple outcomes. I hope you enjoy. End of message.

In our 80-odd snippets today, we came across an American Cropper who doesn’t paint a great short-term picture for their viability over there. They have no export markets for the Soybeans, and Corn prices aren’t that exciting. Like here, he said, Machinery costs are too high, and people are turning their backs on the new stuff. And it’s now got to a point where they are not Cropping some of their lesser paddocks, leaving them out. It’s a very interesting read.
