What was in this mornings edition of The Farmers Club.
  • Scroll down the bottom of the page to check out the slogan I came up with yesterday.

  • Are you bank-ready? We could certainly write a lot of stories on the back of the Ken Solly podcasts x 2. Through his consulting business, he is big on having his clients be bank-ready, even if they have nothing to buy. You never know when an opportunity might present itself he said. We wrote about being bank-ready today.

  • Speaking of bank-ready. The Jeff McDonald podcast on the new banking laws and how we have to adjust our attitude to conform has been very well received. I said in the intro that I can't think of anyone who could present this topic any better. And that's how it worked out. You can't afford to miss this one. Subscribe, and I will send it to you.

  • One of our Farmer subscribers sends a report to the bank each month; the bank doesn't ask, they just do it. What would that do for your relationship with the bank if you copied that model?

  • Do you want to stand out in this crowded world? I saw this yesterday: "You have to keep learning, keep asking questions. You will stand out because in this social media age, people talk and forget to listen. Listening is learning".

  • Our Farmer subscribers have told us that it's timing that separates the best Farmers from the rest. We put another spin on timing, which is very relatable in an article today.

  • As Farmers, we like a little bit of unpredictability and risk, and we get that through uncontrollable factors, like the weather and markets. Today, we wrote about a Farmer who has designed his enterprises to be boring. They are boring in that there's a lot of repeatability and replication, but the outcomes are far from boring. Well worth a read.

  • Have a great Thursday and start your day informed.
