Tim Burvill podcast preview - Take a listen here. We interviewed Tim Burvill from the South Australian Cattle Company (SACC). The SACC is a very interesting business that has a few moving parts to it. It has a couple of properties in the South East of South Australia where they run Cattle and a Feedlot, they have a wholesale dry-aged Beef company and a brand called Kings and Queens, which sells to select supermarkets. 

Today’s Trends - It was Hay Gear and Hay today.

What things sold - Tractors, Faba Beans, Drop Deck, Grain Rings, Oats, Bulls, Grain Bag Inloader, Wheaten Hay, Hay Rake, Vetch Hay, Bale Wrapper and Augers.

• Follow the Dairy guys - When it comes to pasture management, Dairy Farmers are the best. Now they are adopting a new tech that is taking their pasture management to a new level, and Sheep and Beef Cattle Farmers should be watching closely. We wrote about it today.

• Any Farmer who had Hay down might have been cursing the rain for that reason only. I have a theory though, that the rain might have added more value to the Hay market than anyone thinks. We wrote about it today.

• It's all about the conversation - The Tim Burvill podcast we released yesterday was more of a conversation than an interview. It reminded me more of the unscripted conversations we have on the phone.
