End or message by Dwain Duxson - As of today, I will no longer be working for Farm Tender. It was decided by the board, which included myself, that this would happen, and that day has come.

So, as of today, most of our income will be derived from our new venture, The Farmers Club. I officially started Farm Tender in 2012, but it was in design or tweak mode for about 3 years before that. It's been a great journey, and we have been lucky enough to have loyal and fantastic staff, and a wonderful customer list who have been equally as loyal. I will stay on as a director and shareholder and will be barracking from the sidelines.

Megan Ruyg will be in charge, and she will have clear air to run the day-to-day operations her way. She is doing and will continue to do a great job. Thanks to everyone involved.

To say it was a very surreal feeling yesterday when our Staff and Farm Tender community actually read the words “I’m Off” is an understatement. As many of you would know, Dwain started this business from the ground up back in 2011, not an easy task way back then, but it grew and expanded into what it is today. Over 83,000 members to date and a very solid foundation, customer base and team. It is certainly something to be proud of.

There have been a few trials and tribulations along the journey, but that is what life is all about right?, in the words of Dwain “you just have to give it a crack” and he certainly has over the years.

New ventures have begun for Dwain and his lovely wife Paula whom most of you would have met somewhere along the way - how does that saying go? - “behind every great man there’s a great woman” (or a woman rolling her eyes haha) - Paula has been a huge support for every idea, business and adventure Dwain has pursued, and there’s no doubt that the next venture of The Farmers Club will be a great success. It’s real, it’s honest and it’s a platform for farmers to be heard and to collaborate. If you haven’t already, get onto it! (there’s a link and info below).

Dwain won’t ever be too far away from the happenings of Farm Tender, as a Director and senior Board Member he will certainly still have (in his words) his 20c’s worth. Along with fellow Director, Matt Henke and our Board Chair, Jeff McDonald, great things are still to come and I look forward to helping grow Farm Tender into the future.

On behalf of our Team at Farm Tender we wish Dwain & Paula all the very best and thank you for the creation that is Farm Tender - so we will continue to get “stuck into it” and “give it a crack”!.
