2. 🐎 Melbourne Cup Day Public Holiday - It’s that time of year - “the Race that stops the nation”!.
We have a few staff away tomorrow, however Shane, Mike, Emma and myself (Megan) will still be available. Don’t hesitate to give us a call if you need any assistance.

TODAY’S TRENDS - A busy Monday leading into Melbourne Cup Day. A couple of Chaser Bins on the move today and there was plenty of discussion about the weather and how it could shape both the Hay and Grain markets in the coming weeks.
WHAT SOLD TODAY - Chaser bins, Hay rake, Hard hose irrigator, Cereal Hay, Seed, Silage Grab, Air Cart, Rams and Kelpie pup.
What was in this mornings edition of The Farmers Club.Research tells us that you don't care about someone's products or services. But you do care what that product or service can do for you.
The gains are in the problems - I listened to a podcast where the interviewer, who is a celebrated US businessman, said that's why we should go full throttle at our problems and not try to avoid them. Makes sense. We wrote about it today.
May the leverage be with you - In Ag, we strive for win/win, but it's not always going to be the case. Sometimes we will have the leverage, and next time we won't. We outline some examples of this in an article today.
How do you make your big decisions? I have been in situations where you make them by consensus with a large group of people, with 2 or 3 people or just by myself. We write about all three, and I outline which one we prefer.
