TODAY’S TRENDS - We have seen a lift in Hay enquiries and sales today. Plenty of hay still on the ground with weather playing havoc for those yet to bale. There has been a good uptake on Machinery and Equipment especially Tractors and some starting to look at Tillage and Seeding equipment.

WHAT SOLD TODAY - Prickle Chain, Mother Bin, Vetch Hay, Wheat, Grain Bag, Seed Drill, Auger, Tractor, Trimble, Silo, Field Bin, Hay Rake, Rams, Beans and Pasture Boosta.

  • I listened to my first Joe Rogan podcast over the weekend. It was a 3-hour interview with Elon Musk, and I had it playing in the background whilst getting ready for Monday's edition. I pricked my ears when I heard something important and tuned in. One thing I heard was this: "When you understand the incentive, you can work out the behaviour". He was talking about why the Biden government policy was centred around mass migration, and then they would fund them for things, give them freebies. It was buying votes. It didn't work for them, but it's working for some other party that comes to mind. We wrote about it today.

  • Recency bias is a term I have been hearing more of lately. Kate Burke sums it up beautifully, and we write about her interpretation of it and how it affects us as Farmers.
