The Calvin Muller Scholarship
It’s not very often that someone puts $50,000 towards a scholarship to educate a young, keen Agriculturalist. Calvin is one of our Farm Tender members and has made this available to one very lucky individual. See more details here or head to the bottom of the page for more. Well done, Calvin, you are very kind.
TODAY’S TRENDS - Slower day today with most flat stick into harvest and some trying to get started after the rain which is frustrating for some.
WHAT SOLD - Tractor and Mixer Wagon, Hay Rake, Vetch Hay, Roller Mill, Field Bin, Urea and Tarps.
What was in this mornings edition of The Farmers Club.We have only started putting Hay in Sheds, and already we are seeing haystack fires. The Hay industry has made so much progress over the years, but one thing that has never advanced is how we can eliminate these fires. In fact, I think it is getting worse. We discuss this with an expert in an article today.
Sneak preview of our next podcast, which is with Jonathan Lillie from Fox and Lillie. We are recording it today.
The line-up at the Silo was once a great social thing; now it's a source of frustration. We discuss what's changed over the years in an article today.
Testimonial - "I love getting up in the morning and reading a few short stories/messages generally Ag related. And having a few chuckles too. Thanks, Dwain". Andrew, Tailem Bend, SA.
We care about what we do, but we know you don't. We get it. But it's all about what we can do for you is what you care about. That's why we have a 30-day trial. So if it's not doing it for you, you opt out before you pay a cent. We want it to work for you.
We wrote an article today about the cost of not doing something and realising down that track that you missed the boat. It could be relatable to the statement above. Sometimes we reflect and look back and say, shit, I'm glad we started that when we did, look where we are now. If something feels right, jump in and just do it.
Have a great Friday night and subscribe to start your day fully informed.
