What was in this mornings edition of The Farmers Club.We did a short-form "End of Message" podcast with Ben Duxson on how they go about locking out the transmission line people. It resonated with one of our subscribers who kindly donated $5k worth of meat at the butcher's for their BBQs.
We wrote a story today that had a few cricketing tones about how you operate better with a clear head. We had a great example of how it can make us better Farmers.
Our son was never much of an academic, but lately he has started reading books. He is reading "How to Win Friends and Influence People" and he said he is adopting some of the tactics in his role as a supervisor at work, with some good results. It got me thinking that we only know what we know, and without a constant flow of information, we miss out. How do you keep your mind fertile with new ideas?
The misuse of government funds is rife, and Ag is not immune. We wrote about some examples today that will make you question some organisations.
We wrote about Xero and how they have a wonderful business model (my opinion) on Saturday. One reader pointed out how they built their business by incentivising accountants to get their clients on board. It worked.
We have a fantastic line-up of Farmer replies in today's edition. Subscribe, and I will send them to you. You don't know what you are missing out on.
Have a great Monday and subscribe to start each day fully informed.
