TODAY’S TRENDS - It was a relatively quiet day with only a small number of sales recorded. However, there was a noticeable increase in both interest and activity in the hay market, with several buyers seeking to secure supply as insurance moving forward due to limited availability and variable quality, particularly in Vetch Hay.

WHAT SOLD - Small square baler, Vetch Hay, Oaten Hay, Ewes, Combine, Harrow, Round baler, Bale Netting, Kelpie Pup, Picking Trays.

What was in this mornings edition of The Farmers Club.

• It's a big edition today, with 110 snippets of information. But as we know, bigger doesn't always mean better. We will let you be the judge of that. But as we say, it's not about bigger or better, it's about what the content can do for you.

• When you're starting out in Ag, you want to pick something to do that others aren't and start to build your business around that. That's what a young Farmer did in the Aquaculture industry when he saw an opening to produce Red Claw brood stock, as no one else was doing it. The rest is history. It's a great story, and we wrote about it today.

• The 80k on the country roads thing is a dead duck, thank god. But it got me thinking, did Labor plant this issue as a diversion to other issues that are going on right now for us country folk, like renewables across our Farming Land? Hmm, I wonder. What do you think? We wrote about tit today.

• It's good to see some passionate Sheep people replying to our story about the grab for acres and how it's been a one-horse race in favour of Cropping for about 30 years. They are a very heartfelt bunch of Farmers' replies today.
