What was in this mornings edition of The Farmers Club.
  • We were at the protest rally the other day, and I got talking to a local Farmer I know well, who told me they had made a profit every year for something like 30 years in a row. That's good going. He's not the bragging type either. We wrote about how he did it in an article today.

  • Making a profit each year would certainly keep you on our green line. See the image below.

  • What we do with our Farmers Club newsletter not only has to be educational, but also entertaining. We learned a bit about the entertainment side on April 1st this year when we said we were going to get rid of the "funnies" because someone complained. No one complained, and it was the only April Fool's joke I've ever pulled off. We had over 40 replies saying, noooooooo not the funnies, they have to stay…… The funnies stayed, and they are still on the edge.....

  • We say that brands in Ag are the future and the ticket for us to beat the commodity cycle. But brands are hard, not impossible to pull off, but hard. We give a great example of a "Salbush Lamb" brand that didn't make it. We explain what happened in an article today.

  • My brother Ben is using his newfound media fame to talk not only about what is happening locally with the transmission lines, but also to remind the Australian public and politicians that we need a better and alternative energy plan that's going to work for the nation. Private enterprise is the backbone of this country, and many are falling off the wagon because of the cost of energy. Do you agree with Ben that we need a new energy plan?

  • Have a great Thursday, and subscribe to keep yourself educated and entertained.
