What was in this mornings edition of The Farmers Club.I was talking to a Farmer over the weekend, and he made a statement that, "in the Ag game you don't want to be a prick (he said another word), otherwise you get offside with everyone, and nobody will do business with you". I said, yer, you don't want to be on "the list". We wrote about "the list" today.
Simon Quilty was ahead of his time. His business, Global Agritrends, is a behind-the-paywall newsletter and podcast business where he has over 2000 subscribers. He and his business partner started it in 2019, and now the creator/content industry is exploding. We wrote about his cleverness today.
You know when you are driving along, and you have this thought. Yesterday morning, I was heading for my usual Sunday morning coffee and got thinking about the new banking rules and if the changes in and around borrowing will put a halt to the next rise in Land prices. We wrote about it today.
Speaking about the banking rule changes and how they affect Farmers. We did a podcast with Jeff McDonald, and he explained that we, as Farmers, need to change our ways if we want to access finance, because the game has changed and it's not the same as it used to be. It's a great podcast that everyone should listen to. Subscribe, and I will send it to you.
Our podcasts are like mini conferences. But it's not about the content we create; it's about what the content from those podcasts can do for you and your business that matters.
