What was in this mornings edition of The Farmers Club. The story we wrote on "the list" has got plenty of interaction. So "the list" is for Farmers who are hard to get along with, the ones who run out of places to go. And it sounds like "the list" is alive and kicking for many of our subscribers. From what I can gather, you want to make it one of your Farming ambitions NOT to get on too many lists…
We got a reply from a Machinery Industry person who said Dennis O'Connor (former owner of O'Connor's Case Dealership group) had a drafting gate (another form of "the list"), and it got back to Dennis. He said yes, it's true, but the majority of people he dealt with were great. We had a lot of people reply, saying they had what we are calling "the list." We wrote a 2nd draft story about it today.
A great lesson on how to run a successful business in Ag. Today, we wrote a story based on a couple of replies we received from very prominent Ag businesspeople, who shared insights into why they are successful in the Ag space and keep growing. This is a great read.
The story we mentioned above is why The Farmers Club exists. We love relaying stories about how others go about it. We then frame them up so that you can draw ideas from what we write, and we also add in some questions that might send your thinking down another track. Subscribe to be a part of the "ideas club".
We think automation in Farm Machinery is coming, but we believe the transition time will be long, probably generational. Why? Because of trust. We wrote about it today.
Have a great Wednesday night, and remember it's not about our content, it's what our content can do for you. Think ideas…… We never want to be short of ideas.
From Episode 23 onwards, our podcasts can only be heard if you are a paid subscriber to The Farmers Club. Sign up here.
