What was in this mornings edition of The Farmers Club.
  • People who get things done are worldly. They know what's going on. They have to. I am not saying this to brag, but when I sift through the subscriber list, I see quality operators everywhere. But they didn't subscribe because of what we do; they subscribed and then worked out what the content we provide can do for them. That's why they keep kicking goals.

  • Kate Burke podcast preview - Kate is ready to distribute her second book, which is called "Succession". We chat briefly with Kate about her extensive career in the Ag space, but spend most of our time talking about family Farm succession. Kate brought up some great techniques around the process that I never even thought of. You can listen to the podcast here, and you can buy Kate's book here.

  • A respected Ag coach has come out and said that many Ag businesses are increasing revenue, but profit and cash flow are waning. He said in a 2025 economic environment, we have to shift our focus in Ag from turnover to cash flow and profit. We write about it today.

  • I just wanted to say this again because I believe it's important, but you be the judge of that — People who get things done are worldly. They know what's going on. They have to. I am not saying this to brag, but when I sift through the subscriber list, I see quality operators everywhere. But they didn't subscribe because of what we do; they subscribed and then worked out what the content we provide can do for them. That's why they keep kicking goals.

  • James Dyson (from Dyson Vacuum fame) failed a lot, and he trained himself to enjoy the failures. We relate failure back to Farming in a story today.

  • Have a great Tuesday, and subscribe to start each day fully informed.
