It's because we don’t feel safe
I've noticed something. When there are things around us that make us feel unsafe, we need to learn more about the issue. So if there's media or information around what's making us feel unsafe, we'll consume it. I checked the stats for our last 2 shortform "End of Message" podcasts: one was on Hay and the other on Fertiliser. Which one do you think has the most listens? You guessed it, the Fertiliser had double the listens, and it's 24 hours younger than the Hay one. We explain why....
