🌱 FARM INPUTS REPORT πŸŒ±
For the week up to 9th April 2026. By Ellen Garland
Listing of the Week: Triple Super 0.16.0.7 (Ex Geelong)

FERTILISER -
Please get in touch to discuss what Fertiliser you require.  We can keep you up to date with pricing, availability and any expected market movements.
Note: Prices below are indicative at the time of publication. We will always source the most current and competitive pricing at the time of your enquiry.

The Fertiliser enquiries this week have started to slow down, but the prices continue to rise.  April/May Urea contracts are starting to be collected which is great to see.  Urea pricing is ranging from mid to high $1,400’s depending on supplier and time frame. SOA remains in the mid $600’s with some suppliers now quoting availability from mid June onwards.

Quoting and supply of Single Super is still on hold, MAP and DAP supply is short with some suppliers still waiting on MAP shipments to arrive.  MAP price has lifted again to mid to high $1,400’s.   DAP is low to mid $1,500’s.

What we are finding the main obstacle at the moment is getting time slots to collect contracted fertiliser.  Some suppliers are now out at least 2 weeks before getting a new booking.  We highly recommend getting organised and if you need your Fertiliser by the end of April, now is the time to be getting it booked in and freight lined up.  The ability to reschedule bookings is becoming more difficult.  Bulk Bag bookings are now out as far as 3-4 weeks and this is stretching out further each day.  Normally time slots are flexible but we are finding that if trucks are late and miss their slot they potentially will not be loaded.

Urea - Mid to High $1,400’s ex all Ports. We have some available for 15th May - 30th June ex Geelong and Newcastle low $1,400’s.

MAP - Mid to High $1,400’s ex all ports. We have some available now in the mid $1,300’s ex Geelong.

DAP - Low $1,500’s ex all ports.

SOA - Mid $600’s ex all ports. Availability varied depending on supplier.

SSP - Indication on price going forward could potentially be in the $700’s per tonne but at this stage all Single super is sold out.  We have an alternative ex Geelong and Newcastle, this is a Triple Super 0:16:0:7 please get in touch for a quote.

MoP - High $700’s

SoP - Mid to High $1,300’s.

What was in this mornings edition of The Farmers Club.
  • The latest writings.

  • The Crop plantings are forecast to be down 10 per cent, and if we can’t get Urea, the yields will suffer. Could we see $600 Wheat and $1200 Canola?

  • This year’s budget for a Cropping Farmer is going to look pretty tight. But if Grain prices rise, you might be wildly and, in that case, pleasantly wrong. We elaborate.

  • RB Sellers has put store expansion plans on ice. They are absorbing all costs right now, which is eating into margins. It’s an interesting story of what it takes to manage a business in these trying times.

  • Have a great Wednesday, and subscribe to see what the new Ag media is all about.
