Last word on S&W…. - I say the last word, but these things have a habit of raring their head as new information comes in. Pretty much all of the stuff that we have written about has been true and correct, according to the many replies we have had. Also, people have different interpretations of things (we all do), depending on the individual.

There are just a couple of things I want to clarify. The original information I got may not have come from one of the Committee of Inspection grower representative members. So, I just want to say it came from a source.

The reason I am saying the last word is because a few people have said I might be jeopardising the potential for the Farmers involved to get at least 25 cents in the dollar back. The potential for something is better than nothing. So some want to give the new entity a crack. Others, on the other hand are saying, go for it don't hold back, give it to them, we are angry and want to see justice.

Just two last things, and this might be an interpretation we mentioned above, but I have heard from a few now that S&W Aus transferred the IP to S&W US before administration. This is valued at something like 24-26 million dollars. Apparently, it's being transferred back to the new Australian owner, Avior. So not only do they keep the 20 million worth of stock on hand, but they also get an extra boost of equity from the IP. Something like 40-odd million worth of value for $11 million or something around that mark. The last thing I will say is to be careful when dealing with the new entity. Reason? Because they are not industry people; they are money people. Sorry, dog with a bone. I just had to put those in. End of message. Reply to [email protected]

Fertiliser Update - Are you ready for the 2025 season? Get in touch to discuss your Fertiliser requirements now! Urea continues to rise every 3-7days at least $10.00. Up $20.00 per tonne since last week to $720.00 per tonne. With increased demand globally, it is expected that this pattern will continue.  We can secure contracts for Current and also out as far as March/April. Surprisingly, we have seen SOA drop $10.00 per tonne to $440.00 per tonne. The MAP price has remained steady at $1,060.00, DAP is $1,075.00 per tonne, It is expected that all AP’s domestically will start to catch up with Global demand and the prices will start to firm. We continue to urge farmers to be on the front foot and lock in the required fertiliser in advance.

Chemical Update - We have Glyphosate 450 and 540 ready to go in several locations in NSW, including Dubbo, West Wyalong, and Leeton. See the attached links. Glyphosate 450, Glyphosate 540. Glyphosate prices are holding steady for now, the price of Glyphosate 450 remains at $4.30 per litre and Glyph 540 $5.40 per litre, Paraquat 250 is $3.60, Glufosinate $4.60 per litre and Diquat $5.80 per litre. This Propiconazole is priced to move. For the Control of certain fungal diseases of Bananas, Oats, Peanuts, Perennial Ryegrass, Pineapples, Stone Fruit, Sugar can, Wheat and other Crops.

Today's Trends - Sales trends included Millet Seed, GPS Equipment, Trailer Sprayer, Sheep Feeders, Round Baler, Irrigator, Mower Conditioner, Tractors, Pipe, Working Dogs, Direct Drill, Hay Rake, Augers, Tray Truck, Vetch Hay, Tippers and Chaser Bins.
