Daily 369 - Go where like-minded Farmers go
Farm Tender Daily - All the news from Thursday, the 30th of November, 2023.

Go where like-minded Farmers go - Farmers are individual in their approach, but many also like being a part of the group. A place where they can find like-minded Farmers and learn things with and from their peers
Some of the groups that come to mind are Farm Owner Academy, RCS, Holistic Management, the No-Till Groups, KLR Marketing, Soft Rolling Skin, and the list goes on. These and other groups are all in part responsible for the constant innovation that goes on in Ag.

Most of the groups are set up by innovative Farmers or Educators who have been involved in Farming. Most run workshops and have ongoing programmes as people advance through the steps. Most of these groups are businesses within themselves and have to make money to survive. Some have been labelled as cult-like, which I am sure they find offensive.
These groups want you fully committed to their programs, but not everyone wants to commit; they just want to take bits and pieces away to advance their own businesses. The camaraderie and friendships that develop from being a part of these groups are invaluable for many. Some of the groups fall by the wayside over time, and some of them survive. Most rely on clever leadership at the top to bring value to the participants so they get results. Have you been a part of any Farming Group? And if so, what did you get out of it?
