The triple backflip and some - We have talked about changing your mind in the past, and we think it's a good thing to do. Don't feel like you have to be stubborn or rigid in your approach.
That's why we welcome the Victoria government’s backflip on sacking gas. Not only has it done a backflip, but it’s actually encouraging new projects. This is a triple backflip and some.
I am of the belief that when push comes to shove and the cost of living becomes a real concern, people will want to stay fed, they will want to stay warm, and they will want to make sure they are doing everything to a budget. The last thing they will want to be thinking about is whether the climate is changing or not, even though they have probably supported it in some way, shape or form in the past. It will be survival mode first and foremost.
Many believe that ill-conceived government policy is and will kill our way of life and how we currently do business. Wise governments will pick up on this and restore things to the way they were. This backflip on gas is just the start. There comes a point where you have to stop using Climate Change as an excuse for stuffing up. We are in for interesting times ahead. What else would you like governments to backflip on? Reply to [email protected]
