Peak Australia - I was talking to a mate today who asked me when do you think peak Australia was. I thought, bloody good question (here's me always looking for stories, and one falls in my lap), and what if you broke it down into a few segments?
So when was the peak living here in Australia? We both thought the 80s when life was pretty simple. For example, we had 2 channels on the TV instead of 122. Think back. It was just a good time to be alive.
We both agreed that peak manufacturing was in the 70s, when we made most of our own stuff. It would have been a good time in business, and most companies would have offered great service.
Peak Agriculture was a bit more tricky. I said it was about 2-3 years ago when we had the boom times. It might be a case that we haven't reached peak Agriculture yet; who knows? It's the most ancient of industries that keeps delivering. Imagine if we were appreciated…… And what about peak roads? We could have peak sport, or you could refine it down further by asking when your home town reached its peak. When was peak Australia for you? Reply to [email protected]
