A Networking opportunity - It’s only a month away until our FarmTender2024 - Entrepreneurs in Farming event, which is on March 1. Between now and then, I promise I will only write 1, maybe 2 articles about it. I don’t want to bore you with it too much.
But I will say I am super excited by the speakers we have, and ticket sales are way ahead of this time last year. So I’m confident we will get a reasonable crowd.
I was laying in bed this morning thinking about it, and I reckon we underestimate how important these events are for networking opportunities. Having a couple of hundred Farmers in the same room excites me that there will be many new connections made and many new ideas talked about and swapped. It’s probably equally or more important than the speaker interviews.
And just looking through the list of respected Farmers we are coming so far I just think people will get incredible value from these connections. We have deliberately allowed more time than last year for this to happen, with a longer lunch period and BBQ, beers and wine after so people can have a good chat and head off when they see fit. I know our staff are excited to put some faces to the names of people they have spoken to over the years. To book a ticket, click on the link here or go to the Farm Tender website, and you will see the banner ad there. We would love to see you there. Reply to [email protected]
The Farmers Club headlines - Tomorrow, at 5 am, we talk about some of the words that are creeping into Ag, like sustainable, which annoys a lot of Farmers. We also talk about the 80/20 rule when it comes to Farm work. We cover the old Farm Mail deliveries and how some of our mailing addresses used to be different. Plus, all your replies, and we also have over 30+ short-form articles and images all about Farming. Sign up here.
