An Education like no other - We all talk about how the standard of our education system is not up to scratch and how people aren't taught things they use in everyday life, or are taught things they will never use.
Many are saying now that university is a waste of time. People now hire on character, and that piece of paper, which was once on top of the list, is down a few rungs now.
So we talk about how it's not right, but we struggle to find ways to change it. I had an interesting phone call from a respected Ag person today who wanted to run an idea past me. He wants to start a 12-month course for young aspiring Entrepreneurs, niched down to Rural people and perhaps niched further to people who want to create in the Ag space.
The logistics of it are yet to be defined, only that he wanted it to be for, say, 15yo through to, say, 25 yo or a little older. He has connections in the coaching industry and is associated with a multitude of entrepreneurs. The type of person would be ones that show they have that enterprising spirit. I said I would put it out there to the audience, so here is the question in a survey form below.
Do you think it's a good idea to have a course for aspiring entrepreneurs in the Ag space? If you have any ideas, please add in the text box provided. |
