Greatest Ag marketing campaign ever - We wrote about pulling up supplying our Farm goods for a week a while ago. Just the threat of something like this might see a rush for the supermarket shelves. See the story here.

Jeremy Morton, chair of National Irrigators, said this: "It wouldn't take much for Farmers to hold this country to ransom. A few Chooks catch a cold and there's not an egg on the shelves. Something our anti-farmer politicians should think about as they get on with their anti-Farmer policies. Everyone has a limit, lucky we're not the CFMEU".

That's the sort of angle I was getting at with the story I wrote, and I had a few replies saying they didn't like it and it would be a foolish thing to do. It's interesting though; something like this would be a marketing campaign like no other. It's hard for us to relay to the majority of the non-Farming public as to how important we are and that we are doing good things, not bad. This would be a foundation shaker.

If ever desperate times called for desperate measures, then we would have to consider it. As Jeremy says, everyone has a limit. I can hear your brain ticking over. Tempting, wouldn't it? Reply to [email protected]
