A minister for common sense - The British Prime Minister has appointed a minister for common sense. I kid you not. Just Google it. The appointment has been made to "tackle the scourge of wokeism," according to the British Government.

So can we have one, too, please? Maybe we could have two and appoint one as Agricultural minister. Maybe one for each state as well. I actually find this appointment refreshing, even a little bit exciting, and in a world of growing extremism, it's a very smart appointment. Well done to the British Government. Surely, everyone would like more common sense in our world

It got me thinking, this sort of appointment is saying to us that society at certain levels is heading too far down the radical track, which is at odds with how we live our everyday lives and the basic needs we require.

So, we might see more of these sorts of appointments at government level, at a corporate level, and throughout the small business community to counterbalance wokeism. What sort of things would you want a minister for common sense to do here in Australia? Reply to [email protected]
